What Is The Solas Council?

Our Mission

Edify, Educate, Evangelize

Simple, clear, concise, and intentional. This mission statement not only reflects our purpose as a ministry but also reflects our execution. We strive to provide edifying fellowship to Christians online. Deep and long-lasting relationships built over the internet are increasingly common, and we want to provide Christians a space to build those fulfilling relationships by meeting like-minded individuals who can come alongside them, encourage them, build them up, and grow together in Christ with them.

Education is crucially important to us. In a world where the marketplace of ideas has vastly expanded and is increasingly influenced by secular and sinful ideals which permeate seemingly every aspect of our lives, we aim to be a bastion of Reformed Theology. Stirring up a love of Christ is impossible if we do not know Christ and is difficult if we do not know who Christ Is. We aim to provide helpful, scripturally accurate, and confessionally reformed materials to Christians who desperately thirst for the truth.

Evangelism is a universal command of all Christians. “16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:16-20 ESV.

Christ does not ask us to share the gospel; he commands us to. Our greatest purpose as an organization is to proclaim that Christ is God, who became man, died in our place, bearing our sins, and was raised again to be seated at the Father's right hand. Only this truth saves, and only this gospel can encapsulate our lives.

Our mission is to help Christians Love Christ, Know Christ, and to Share Christ

Our Values

We firmly believe in the teachings of the Protestant Reformation. The Solas Council is a confessionally reformed server, advocating for the systems of doctrine in the Westminster Confession, the Belgic Confession, and the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith.

We believe that Christ’s grace should show in all we do. From our leadership practices to our teaching to our writings, we strive for doctrinal integrity and ethical and practical Godliness.
